Can trees talk? I say yes.

Do you believe that human and trees can actually communicate in certain ways? When I was fourteen, I have been to a tree therapy which held by a religious group. The tree therapy that I am referring to was a way to quiten human’s mind through interacting with trees in a forest. There was a guy, who would speak out some words in order try to ‘relax’ your mind. The words that he spoke might be some actions, such as putting your ear near bark of trees and listening to the internal sound from them. I tried. And what I have heard is a sequence of continuous sound of clear and slow water flow. Frankly, memory is always not one hundred percent correct. And also, what we thought we hear in the real world might be merely some imaginative sound from our mind. That’s the reason why I start to question can trees really talk with human in this way when I came to twenty-two right now. As in this information age, there are more and more scientific proves and researches state that trees can emit low-wave sound. It reveals that trees can talk is not conceivably pure imaginative anymore. Making use of this research based project, I try to examine how the sound of trees perceived by human, in both imagination and real world shifting.
